This website is a static site. Without your consent it sets no cookies and does not analyse your behaviour, and it embeds no third-party content. Beyond that, personal data is processed only to the extent technically necessary to run the server.

The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, on a server located in Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.
When the website is accessed, the server automatically records access data in a log file: IP address, date and time of access, the address requested, the HTTP status code, the volume of data transferred, the referring page, and browser and operating system details. This data is technically necessary to deliver the page and to protect the server against misuse and attack. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure and uninterrupted operation of the website. Log files are deleted automatically after 14 days. The data is not combined with other data and is not analysed for advertising purposes.
The website is served over encrypted HTTPS.
Contacting us by email
If you write to us, we process your email address and the content of your message in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and for enquiries about hosting a Dialograum also Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We keep the correspondence for as long as it is needed to deal with the matter and delete it once the matter is closed and no retention obligations apply.
Registering for a Dialograum
When you register for a Dialograum, we process the details from the registration form in order to run the event, for example to tell you the exact venue. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
The registration form is provided by Tally BV, Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat 11, 9000 Ghent, Belgium; the data is stored on servers within the European Union. The responses are retrieved by konnek (konnek GbR, Einbecker Straße 22, 10317 Berlin) and stored in a database at Baserow (Baserow B.V., Keurenplein 4, Amsterdam, the Netherlands). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with konnek; with Baserow, its standard data processing terms apply.
konnek deletes the data after 30 days. In Baserow we delete it no later than 30 days after the event. If you agreed during registration to be informed about further Dialogräume, we keep your email address for that purpose; the legal basis is then your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future; an email to the address above is enough.
Cookies and third-party content
Without your consent this website sets no cookies. If you consent to audience measurement, Matomo sets the cookies listed in the next section. No third-party content is embedded: no maps, no videos, no social media buttons, no comment function.
Audience measurement with Matomo
With your consent we use the open-source software Matomo to measure how this website is used: for example which pages are visited and which links bring visitors here. Matomo runs on a server of our own, rented from STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany; a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with STRATO. The measurement data is sent via this website's own address, not to a third-party provider. It is not passed on to third parties and not transferred to countries outside the European Union. We use no advertising services.
We collect the shortened IP address, the date and time of the visit, the pages viewed, the previously visited page, and details of the browser, operating system, screen resolution and language setting. The IP address is shortened before it is stored: the last two bytes are removed.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG). Without consent the Matomo script is not loaded and no usage data is collected. Individual visit data is deleted after 180 days, the aggregated reports made from it after twelve months.
If you consent, Matomo stores the following cookies in your browser:
_pk_id: recognises returning visits. Expires after about 13 months._pk_ses: holds the current session together. Expires after about 30 minutes.mtm_consent_removed: set only when you withdraw your consent, so that the withdrawal is respected. It is not used for analysis. Expires after about 13 months.
The website remembers your choice in the cookie notice in your browser's local storage, under the key dialograum-analytics-consent, so that the notice does not reappear on every page. This is not a cookie and is not used for analysis.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). Withdrawing stops the measurement immediately and deletes the Matomo cookies already set. The cookie notice reappears on your next page view.
Your consent has been withdrawn and the Matomo cookies have been deleted.
Fonts
The fonts used are served from this server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external provider.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), as well as the right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). Please write to the address given above.
